Change of training night & facilities
Many of you who train regularly will be aware of impending changes to our training venue.

Philip Morant School have given us notice that they will not be taking external bookings from the end of the Summer term, July 2006.

While we could have stayed until that time, it has become increasingly obvious that ongoing building works adjacent to where we train would eventually force us out before this time as the school are developing this area at present.

Enquiries have been made to find alternative facilities on a Wednesday inc. Leisure World, University, Charles Lucas & Ormiston Centre. These venues were either not available on a Wednesday or the cost would have been considerably more than P.Morant. Highwoods Sports Centre, however, did have a court available, but only on a Tuesday evening.

Therefore, we have decided to take this booking and will start training at Highwoods Sports Centre from Tuesday 7th March. Meet outside the Sports Centre reception at 7pm initially, the court is available from 7.30 - 9pm. Access is only available through the reception area, DO NOT take an alternative route via the field or through the school. Changing and shower facilities available, also access to the field during the lighter evenings to train on grass.

We will train at Philip Morant as usual this, and next Wednesday.

Any queries or problems with this, get in touch.

Please pass this message on to anyone from the club who goes training.
